Marianne Gish (Lijewski) is an ambitious photojournalist who strives to capture images that will tell stories and impact hearts. Her love for photography began around the age of 12, when she received a purple 110 camera that she used during her travels with the family.

During high school, a black-and-white darkroom photography class prompted her to continue pursuing photography at Okaloosa-Walton College from 2004-2006. She then transferred to the University of Florida, where in December of 2008 she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism.

While at UF, she was a stringer for the nations largest student-run paper, The Independent Florida Alligator starting in the fall of 2007. In the summer of 2008, she was promoted to photo editor and also interned at Floridas #1-ranked community newspaper, The High Springs Herald. Post-graduation, she interned at the  Northwest Florida Daily News for two and a half years. In 2011 she traveled to Killeen, Texas and worked as a staff photographer at the Killeen Daily Herald for two and a half years.

She moved to Eschenbach, Germany in 2014 and started a home based business (HBB) in photojournalism and studio photography called Oh My Gish Photography.

Upon returning to the states in 2017, she did freelance photojournalism for the Idaho State Journal.

She is currently in Sierra Vista, Arizona doing freelance photojournalism for the Sierra Vista Herald and continuing portraiture with Oh My Gish Photography.
